A Beloved
landmark
The rich, ornate style of the Lafayette Loeb House was dreamt up by Emerson P. Knight, who had this magnificent mansion built in 1882 with the proceeds from his successful grain business. Knight was a Massachusetts native who settled in Lafayette for a short time, but he left a grand mark on the landscape, sharing with us his love for the finer things in the shape of this beloved mansion.
We now have this exquisite mansion with its period wallpaper, wainscoting, and beautiful wood floors, giving you ample opportunities for taking memorable photos in a historical, picturesque setting—all while enjoying unique craftsmanship of a time long ago.
